I downloaded the PC Game from a torrent site 'Theme Park' for my PC but it won't install, is it to old for XP? - jam torrent

I have Windows XP and I downloaded from a torrent site and will not install, showing only the MS DOS screen as it should when you start the game and nothing else! seems reasonable jam up :-( I really want to play the original theme park, but I wonder if it is not compatible with Windows XP, ideas?
